R.I.P
Dave Stoik 2005 advanced SW Region champion My SALA SERIES Equiped Comp-Arf super Extra pulls like no other plane/engine combo i have ever flew The improved mid-range torque is unreal the
mid-range transition is great. The improved RPM On the top end is real noticable on uplines. Since having my engines worked on by Xipp deadsticks are a thing of the past Dollar for Dollar by far the best mod I have found
Tony Russo Dalton Aviation
The motor that Xipp did for me is Bad Ass. It is real smooth and has a very low idle
3dav8r (Steve Saulovich)-I will vouch for the engine, big improvement in the low/mid range grunt, I,m very happy with the mods!!
Mark Trent- Well I finally have some hard numbers for you guys. My well broken in Da-150 with KS 1090 tuned pipes is turning a mej 30x10 at 6600 rpms. 93 octane fuel, amsoil 100:1, 100 degree day with 68% humidity. I sent a new set of cylinders and pistons to XIPP for the treatment. I changed the cylinders at the field to make sure the readings would be fair. Fuel was changed to Lawn Boy at 32:1, same prop. I put on the cylinders and fired it up. I let it run for 2 minutes then shut it down to let it cool. After 30 minutes I fired it up and I was pleasantly surprised to see 6700 rpms on the tach. The real improvement was in the midrange though. the accelleration was definely improved due to more torque. I've had several people who fly with me regularly come up and ask if I did something to the motor because they noticed the improved performance. I just finished off the 5 gallons of lawnboy mix and will be switching to Amsoil this week
